The bespoke process begins with completing a short enquiry form before booking in a consultation. During the appointment we will outline your vision and note any special requirements for the design. If you would like to rework existing jewels into the design, or incorporate botanicals, we will arrange the safe delivery of your pieces to the studio. Following this, I will encourage you to share images for design references and aesthetics to aid the designing round.
Using your outlined brief, Phoebe will begin the initial stage of designing. Each bespoke will entail two rounds of designs. These may be drawn freehand, or digitally, depending on the specific brief. A google photo album will be created and shared for your bespoke, so that you can follow the journey to watch the different stages as it is made Once the final design is agreed, a 50% deposit to begin the project, and 50% will be due on completion.
Once the final design is selected, and all the details taken, the making will begin. Each bespoke requires a different approach to creating and varies in time to make. This process typically takes between 6-8 weeks to complete, but may require longer. Depending on the design Phoebe will either carve your design in wax, make directly in metal and may require or use Computer Aided Design printing. All gold pieces will be Assay Hallmarked for authenticity and every bespoke will arrive in the unique Fine Jewellery bespoke packaging that includes a hand-drawn design card.
