These earrings are handmade incorporating dried lichen flowers in the lost wax casting process. Individual florets of lichen are chosen, dried and developed in wax before being cast into precious metals. These earrings are for pierced ears. 

'From Land, From Sea' is a series of organic textural pieces that explore the symbiotic relationship between land and sea. Lichen has been about before the origin of land, and grows in the presence of Funghi and Algae. The pieces in this collection explore this curious form and the habitats she roams in.
